Season Year: Fall 2024 - Spring 2025

New Players (U5-U9):

1. Gather required documents (birth certificate and current photo)
2. Click the Register button at the top of the page.
3. If you don't have an account, set-up an account. Please only 1 account per street mailing address
4. Click Add Player and add your child to the account. Upload required documents as needed
5. Click the link next to your Players that says how many programs are available.
6. Select the Program available for your Player. 
7. If you have multiple players you can Continue to the next player or Skip until you're able to Continue.
8. Complete the registration. Required fields will be indicated with a *
9. Uniform Shirts will be provided so there is no need to order a shirt

1. Login to your account by clicking Login or Register at the top of the page. 
2. Click the link next to your Players that says how many programs are available.
3. Select the Program available for your Player. 
4. If you have multiple players you can Continue to the next player or Skip until you're able to Continue.
5. Uniform Shirts will be provided 

New Players (U10+) that have NEVER Played in Ledyard Soccer:

1. Gather required documents (birth certificate or proof of age and current photo)
2. Click the Register button at the top of the page.
3. If you don't have an account, set-up an account. Please only 1 account per street mailing address
4. Click Add Player and add your child to the account. Upload required documents as needed
5. Click the link next to your Players that says how many programs are available.
   
6. Select the Program available for your Player.
7. If you have multiple players, you can Continue to the next player or Skip until you're able to Continue.
8. Complete the registration. Required fields will be indicated with a *
9. Uniform # will be assigned (U10+) 
10. After you receive the official number, order uniforms at https://www.challengerteamwear.com/store/ledyardsc/index.

New Players (U10+) that have played in Ledyard Soccer before:

1. Login to your account by clicking Login or Register at the top of the page. 
2. Click the link next to your Players that says how many programs are available.
   
3. Select the Program available for your Player.
   
4. If you have multiple players, you can Continue to the next player or Skip until you're able to Continue.
5. Complete the registration. Required fields will be indicated with a *
6. Uniform # will be assigned (U10+) 
7. After you receive the official number, order uniforms at https://www.challengerteamwear.com/store/ledyardsc/index.

Returning Players (U10+)

1. Login to your account by clicking Login or Register at the top of the page.
2. Click the link next to your Players that says how many programs are available.
   
3. Select the Program available for your Player.
   
4. If you have multiple players, you can Continue to the next player or Skip until you're able to Continue.
5. Complete the registration. Required fields will be indicated with a *
6. Uniform # from 2024 should be good for 2025, but wait until officially assigned (U10+) 
7. If needed: After you receive the official number, order uniforms at https://www.challengerteamwear.com/store/ledyardsc/index.

• Our registration system holds only so many spaces open for teams in each age division.  Once those spaces are filled with registrants, additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list.  When your child is placed on a waitlist IT DOES NOT MEAN YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY.  
• Once registration closes, the Club reviews the number of registrants per age division against the number of coaches for each age division. LSC works very hard with coaches and players/parents to find teams for ALL CHILDREN WHO WANT TO PLAY.  Our goal is to assign a team to EVERY child who wants to play.  However, there MAY be instances (which we haven’t run into yet) where players cannot be assigned a team due to limitations in resources available or US Soccer and other governing bodies’ guidelines. 

Practices start once registration is complete, teams are built, coaches are assigned, and fields are coordinated. Expect to hear 1-2 weeks before the season opens. Following Facebook announcements help.

Coaches reach out via email to teams to introduce the season and expectations for practices and games. If you haven't heard, please check your spam folder.

Coaches will continue to communicate to practice and game schedules through emails and or an app. Please contact your coach for more information as needed. 

Fields may be closed due to weather. This decision is made by Ledyard Parks and Rec. Follow them on Facebook for field closure updates. 

The Club does NOT schedule practices or games
Our coaches are volunteers. One of the benefits of volunteering is generating the schedule! If interested, please volunteer.

Please utilize the app if your Coaches use an app to provide schedules for games and practices and to communicate important information. 
You can really help the coaches by:

1. If you know ahead of time, that the player won't make a game or practice, please RSVP early.
2. RSVP if your player is coming or not to all practices and games at least a day or two ahead of time to allow our coaches to best plan. 
3. If you make a late change to your RSVP please communicate that with the coaches ASAP. 

Ledyard soccer does not run a winter season; however, interested players may check out Wide World of Indoor Sports and / or talk to their fall coaches during the fall session.
