At Mason Youth Football, we believe in fostering a positive and supportive environment for all participants, including players, coaches, officials, administrators, and parents. Your conduct on and off the field plays a crucial role in shaping the experience for everyone involved. Therefore, we ask for your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines:

1. Respect for All

    Treat everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of differences in opinions, backgrounds, or abilities.
    Refrain from engaging in disrespectful behavior, including but not limited to verbal abuse, harassment, or discrimination.

2. Sportsmanship

    Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, whether your child's team wins or loses.
    Encourage fair play, honesty, and integrity among players, coaches, and officials.

3. Positive Support

    Offer positive and constructive support to all players, including your child and their teammates.
    Avoid excessive criticism or negative comments directed towards players, coaches, or officials.

4. Sideline Behavior

    Cheer enthusiastically for all players, not just your child.
    Respect the authority of coaches and officials by refraining from questioning their decisions or engaging in confrontational behavior.

5. Conflict Resolution

    Address any concerns or grievances through proper channels, such as contacting the league administration or attending designated meetings
    Refrain from resolving conflicts on the sidelines or engaging in confrontations with other parents or spectators.
    Refrain from engaging in confrontation on Mason Youth Football social media pages.

6. Role Modeling

    Serve as positive role models for your child by demonstrating good sportsmanship and respectful behavior.
    Uphold the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance through your actions both on and off the field.

7. Safety and Well-being

    Prioritize the safety and well-being of all players, ensuring that equipment is properly fitted and adhering to safety guidelines.
    Support the league's efforts to create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

8. Enforcement of Guidelines

    Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or expulsion from league activities.
    The league reserves the right to enforce these guidelines as necessary to maintain a positive and respectful environment for all participants.
