Spring 24 Information

The 2024 Spring Team Information / Roster form along with the Schedule Conflict form will be due by close of business Monday, February 12. These forms are here. A $25-a-day compounding late fee until close of business Friday, February 16 will need to be paid for any team wanting to be scheduled after the deadline.
Players do not have to be registered for coaches to turn in the team documents.
The LCYSA Pre-Season General Meeting will be Wednesday, February 21, 6 p.m. at the Corbett Center Student Union Auditorium, Room 247. This is a mandatory meeting for all teams.
Registration for the 2024 Spring Season opened online January 1.
All Players will need to re-register for the 2024 Spring season.
Any Coach / Game Manager that is already registered from Fall 23 DOES NOT need to register again. All requirements must be up-to-date in order to be scheduled though.
New Coaches and Game Managers will need to register.
Please view the F23 / S24 Age Chart online. All teams will be scheduled based on the oldest player listed on the roster. All players must register in their correct gender and birth year and there is no place to select a team when registering.
Fees are $35 for U8 & Younger and $75 for U9 & Older. Only players that did not play in the Fall will need to pay a one-time, per year fee to NMYSA of $23.
The Late Player Registration Fee will begin March 3 and will increase fees by $5 for U8 & Younger and by $10 for U9 & Older.

Also, LCYSA Board of Director Meetings are open to all members on the first Thursday of each month located in the league office.

General Information---Our seasonal year is like the school year - Fall and Spring. Registration for Fall begins in July. Registration for Spring begins in January.
---We need volunteers to coach! LCYSA has a wait list of players in all age groups because so many children want to play but we need adults to volunteer and form new teams. Volunteering is the only way to guarantee your child a spot.
---We can still certainly add your child(ren) to the wait list. Just contact us with your child's name, year of birth and contact information (phone numbers and/or emails) to possibly be contacted by a coach.
---Children are assigned to the wait list by age group. LCYSA uses a calendar Birth Year Age Chart direct from US Youth Soccer. Teams are formed based on the oldest child on the team. Be sure to check the Age Chart to see what age group in which your child belongs.
---Once it is past the deadline to form a team, it will be even more difficult to get on a team for the season. We are also be unable to add a new team to be scheduled. The league will keep players on the wait list for as long as parents want their child(ren) to have a chance to play.
To Register a Team
By the Deadline, a coach from each team will need to submit to the League Office by email or in person:
- Completed Team Information Form
- Completed Season Schedule Conflict Sheet
Teams are organized by the oldest player listed on the roster. The Team Information Form shows the birth year for each age group and also the minimum & maximum number of players allowed on a roster. Players can only play on one team per season - no dual registrations are allowed.
The Season Schedule Conflict Sheet allows teams to submit conflicts to the scheduler in the hopes of deconflicting any calendar conflicts that come up during everyone's busy schedules.
All coaches and players need to register online for each season and complete all requirements.
