Adult/CORI Registration and Training Program

Ensuring the safety of each child participating in our program it is of the utmost importance; the new Massachusetts Youth Soccer Safe Soccer Platform is a critical component, offering background checks and training. In order to be involved with the league every coach and volunteer must have a valid adult registration and CORI background check and successfully completed abuse prevention and concussion training for Taunton Youth Soccer. CORI checks performed through the school or other organizations do not apply to the TYS. Our CORI checks are facilitated through  Mass Youth Soccer.

All coaches must also complete both a Concussion Training Program and Abuse Prevention Training Program in addition to the adult registration. Links to the training will be provided during the registration process and are administered through US Soccer Learning in association with Massachusetts Youth Soccer.

• Step 1: Register and complete the adult registration and background check through the Mass Youth Soccer adult registration portal
• Step 2: Complete Abuse Prevention Training through US Soccer Learning
• Step 2: Complete Concussion Training through US Soccer Learning

The TYS Registrar, [email protected] , will need to verify the information for new coaches on the form using your driver’s license or a government issued ID. You both will sign the form and the CORI Submitter will keep the original form in a secure location until an online verification filing has been completed. The TYS Registrar will work with Massachusetts Youth Soccer to ensure you successfully submitted the information.
