Apr, 2023
Lewisboro Baseball kicked off the 2023 in-town baseball season on Saturday, April 15. We were fortunate weather-wise yet again. The predicted showers held off until later in the day, so we enjoyed a lovely sunny morning for all the festivities, which included:
- The traditional parade of teams, starting with our youngest players (A division) and culminating with our oldest (Majors).
- Color guard by the local Boy Scout Troop Vista 101 Scouts
- National anthem played on electric guitar by LBA alumnus Constantine Mastro
- Awards for retiring LBA leaders
- Speeches by town officials
- Ceremonial first pitch
- BBQ hosted by the Lions Club
Local photographer Rich Monetti took many of the photographs featured her. He has made these and many other available to download for free from his website:
