Our cheerleading program is all about building confidence, promoting teamwork, and developing cheerleading skills while having an absolute blast! At Green Hill, we focus on community, sportsmanship, and fun, with dedicated coaches who will guide your child every step of the way.
Our cheerleaders learn cheers, stunts, jumps, and dances, and they perform on the sidelines to pump up the crowd and support their team!

Our programs are managed by volunteers and provide an inclusive environment for cheerleaders from ages 5 to 12.
Key Locations:
Practices: Held at Green Hill Church on Lebanon Road
Games: Home games are held at Green Hill HS, while away games at TNYFL locations.

August 11th- First day of Cheer practices- Teams will be announced
2026 Cheerleading Uniform & Practice Information
Sideline Cheer (New Cheerleader): $315
Sideline Cheer (Returning Cheerleader): $150
Add Ons:
Returning Cheerleaders will have the option to add on any of the following options for additional price. This option will be provided to families at the mandatory fittings dates below.
- Cheer Uniform Tops, Skirts or Bloomers
- Warm Up Jackets or Pants
- Cancer Awareness Pom Poms
- Personalized Backpack
Competition Squad Information:
More information will be distributed to families regarding our Competition Squad in August. Mandatory practices will be held on Monday nights, with potential added practices closer to Competition.
Competition Squad is for Sideline Cheerleaders ages 8 and up who possess the skills and abilities to compete at a local competition hosted by TNYFL. Spots are limited and practice attendance is mandatory.
You MUST be registered as a Sideline Cheerleader to be considered for the Competition Squad.
Mandatory Fittings
We require ALL (New and Returning) Cheerleaders to attend one of our fitting dates.
Returning Cheerleaders using prior year uniforms should come dressed to fittings to be assessed for size-ups.

Additional Uniform Requirements (Not Provided):
White no-show socks (for game days).
Solid white cheer shoes with a good grip (mandatory for practice and games; crocs, sandals, and converse style shoes are prohibited.)
2026 Practice Schedule
July 27th, 28th and July 30th - Season Kick-off Camp!
Tuesday August 11th- First day of Cheer practices- Teams will be announced.
Sideline Practice: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm.
Starting October 1st- Practices may reduce to once a week at coaches discretion.
Athlete Placement & Squad Information
Squads will consist of mixed ages.
Siblings of football players are prioritized for squad placement and friend requests will be accommodated as much as possible.
Game Information
Cheerleaders must attend all games in full uniform. If a cheerleaders in not in full uniform (including hair, shoes, and accessories), they will not be allowed to take the field.
Game Schedules: Regular season schedules will be provided once available from the league in which we participate in, TNYFL. Green Hill Cheerleaders are expected to attend home and away games.
Parents are asked not to remove their child for the field without informing the coach to ensure the safety and organization of the team.
Volunteer Opportunities & Coaches
GHSA Hawks rely heavily on volunteers. If you're interested in becoming a coach or assisting with the cheer program or one of our other programs, please reach out to one of our board members.
Training will be provided, and volunteer opportunities are available in various roles, including on and off the field.
