Our club thrives on the support of parent volunteers to coach all of our youth travel teams. It is a great way to get involved with your community, enjoy time with your young athlete, and get some bonus exercise running around at practice! While it's great if you have some soccer experience, it isn't necessary to become a youth coach. Our coaching director is available with any questions to help you navigate coming up with a practice plan.

Returning coaches must login with their existing member accounts when registering to carry over any certifications!

1. Background Check (Risk Status)
2. Safe Sport certification (Must renew annually)

COMPLETING YOUR COACHING REQUIREMENTS:

1. Coaches can see the status of their coaching requirements by looking at the Volunteer tab in their Northwest United Soccer Club account. 

2. To be able to coach you must have a check in a circle under Compliant next to Risk Status and Safe Sport. 
If you see a yellow triangle, you are not in compliance.

3. Check the boxes to the left of to those two items and click on Renew & Update to complete your certifications. Those are the only two you need marked compliant. YOU DO NOT NEED A COACHING CERTIFICATE!
