Juniors Soccer (ages 5 to 7)

Northwest United's Juniors Soccer is an in-house co-educational developmental program designed to teach children ages 5 to 7 game fundamentals and a solid foundation of soccer skills. Small teams and small sided games are designed to ensure that every player participates fully in the game, touches the ball frequently and learns basic skills in the process. The program runs each fall and spring for 8 weeks. Coaches are parent volunteers who follow a curriculum designed by our in-house professional trainer. Sessions are held once a week in Sharon, CT on Saturday mornings.

Competitive Division (ages 8 to 16)

Our competitive teams are formed by age and skill level. Fall and spring seasons are each 10 weeks long with formal opportunities for development in the off season. Seasons consist of 8 league games and, frequently, tournaments. Our in-house professional trainer and coaching director work with parent coaches to run practices that optimize player development and team cohesion. Our competitive teams consistently rank among in the top in the Northwest district of CJSA, and players go on to play at top prep schools in the region. Teams practice twice a week in Sharon, CT and have games each weekend on Saturday or Sunday.

Spring High School Division (ages 16 to 18)

In the Spring, soccer athletes from local prep and public school programs come together to train and play in a 10 week long season with weekend games. Coaches for this level are recruited and screened by our Coaching Director to ensure our athletes are getting the feedback and training needed to return to their fall seasons stronger with higher soccer IQ.
