Coaching Director - Sean McCabe



Coach Sean McCabe has been with the Northwest United Soccer Club since 2014, where he began coaching the '04 boys team. Since then, he has routinely coached two boys' teams each spring and fall season. As the club's Coaching Director, Sean has led or assisted the Challenger Sports trainers with pre-season boot camps, weekend open clinics, and position-specific clinics. Under Coach McCabe, his teams have been competitive in their respective divisions, finishing at the top of final standings and earning multiple championships. As a player, Sean McCabe played his youth soccer on Long Island with the Sachem Chiefs. He later went on to continue playing at the NCAA Division I level at Stony Brook University, where he was named captain his senior year. Coach McCabe is passionate about player development and endeavors to create an environment for young athletes to challenge themselves while also instilling a love for the game that has given so much to him.

Coach McCabe currently develops curriculum for all of our youth teams, runs weekly training sessions for each team and runs weekend clinics, in addition to running a pre-season coaching clinic for all of our parent volunteer coaches.
