3v3 Youth Summer Basketball League

The 3v3 Youth Summer Basketball League is back and registration opens on Monday, February 26th!


Available for participants in Rising Grades 4-9 (2024-25 school year)

Saturday Games Only. Games played inside at Kenmore Middle School (times below):

4th Grade Boys - 11am to 2:30pm
5th Grade Boys – 11am to 1:30pm
6th Grade Boys – 12pm to 2:30pm
7th Grade Boys – 1pm to 2:30pm
8th Grade Boys – 10am to 11am
9th Grade Boys – 9am to 10am
4th Grade Girls – 9am to 11am
5th Grade Girls – 11am to 12pm
6th Grade Girls – 10am to 11am
7th Grade Girls – 11am to 12pm

  • Each team will play two games each weekend over the course of an hour or Hour and a half.  
  • Game times are subject to change based on registration numbers.

No Practices or Makeup Games

Jerseys will be provided

Summer Tip Off Event - Saturday, June 8th 

Regular Season Starts - Saturday, June 15th

No Games Held on Saturday, July 6th

Playoffs Start and Conclude Saturday, August 3rd

The registration fee for the 2024 3v3 Summer Basketball League will be $40. Fee Reductions are available. Please contact the Administrative Services Office for more information at [email protected] or call 703-228-4747.

Registration opens February 26th and closes May 5th at 11:59 PM. Wait list registration will open immediately on May 6th. Waitlisted players will only be activated if space is available. Registration options can be found at the bottom of this page. 

This program is open to Arlington County residents only.

Team Formation

Team formation begins once on-time registration closes and wait list registration begins.  At that time, all currently registered players will be assigned to teams prior to any wait listed registrants being placed on a team.

You may request to play with friends, for coaches or be placed on specific teams in the “Special Request” section of the online registration form.  Requests are not guaranteed.

Players will be placed on teams using the following criteria:

1 - Player/Coach Request
2 - School Attended
3 - Geographic Area (Area Code/Neighborhood)
4 - Commissioner Discretion


Roster space permitting, wait listed registrants will be added to teams in the order that their registration was received.

Teams are coached by parent/family volunteers.

Residency Eligibility

All players must be Arlington County residents as of the date of their first game. 'Resident' is defined as:

  • A person or family living within the geographical boundaries of Arlington County, Virginia.
  • A person or family whose property is bisected by the county boundary and that of an adjacent jurisdiction, such that real estate taxes are paid to Arlington County.
  • A person or family owning property and paying real estate taxes in Arlington County even though that person or family resides outside the county boundary.
  • Current employees of the Arlington County Board or the Arlington County School Board, and their immediate family members.
  • Nonresident, full-time students who attend a public or private school in Arlington County
