Dryden Little League Weather Protocol

Early in most seasons we face a couple of weeks of unsettled weather. We try to play all the games but occasionally we must cancel due to the weather.

When we do have to cancel, we do not decide prior to 4:00 pm at the earliest and usually not past 4:30 pm. Occasionally when you show up to your ballfield it is raining, and your Coaching staff may cancel that night’s activity.

It is very common to cancel games at one location and games are still played at another.  Do not assume all games are cancelled because some other team is cancelled elsewhere. In particular the ballfields at Groton Ave have drainage under the field and stay dry after a large rain.
