Welcome to Montrose Youth Football and Cheer!

We are a non profit organization that provides boys and girls in the Montrose Community with a positive instructional experience in both football and cheerleading. We seek to teach good sportsmanship and to always put the safety of our athletes first.


FIRST DAY OF FOOTBALL PRACTICE for the 2024 season:  Monday, August 5th.



EQUIPMENT HANDOUTS: Late July, Exact date TBD:
Please bring the following to the equipment shed, located near the north end of the high school football field:
COPY of players birth certificate
COPY of sports physical dated after April 15, 2024
$100 volunteer fee  per family, 2 hours of volunteer per athlete signed up

*Integrated football practice pants will be available to purchase for an additional $20.00*

7th Grade please arrive at 5:30pm
6th Grade please arrive at 6:00pm
5th Grade please arrive at 6:30pm
3/4 Grade please arrive at 7:00pm


FIRST DAY OF CHEER PRACTICE for the 2024 season: To be announced soon...


MANDATORY WEIGH-IN (Scrimmage): Time and location TBD

Please make sure your player brings water to each practice.

Only molded rubber-like cleats are permitted.  (No screw in cleats or hard synthetic cleats are permitted.)
