James River Figure Skating Club (JRFSC) was developed in 1977. Paula Caldwell moved to Jamestown from Fargo. She had years of figure skating lessons. Her parents and sister, Cheri, also moved to Jamestown. Cheri was taking skating lessons in Fargo and didn't want to stop. Paula talked to the Jamestown Park and Rec about teaching figure skting here.  As they say, the rest is history.
