There will be a basketball league for any interested girls in first through eighth grades.  The purpose of the league is to learn and develop basic basketball fundamentals, enhance our basketball program, and participate in tournament play.  Practice dates and times will be determined by coaches at a later date.

1st - 2nd Grades:  1st-2nd grade girls participate in Little Dribblers. The dates and times will be emailed to parents.  During Little Dribblers, players learn basketball fundamentals in a fun, noncompetitive manner.
3rd grade: 3rd grade girls participate in Little Dribblers.  The dates and times will be emailed to parents.  During Little Dribblers, players learn basketball fundamentals in a fun, noncompetitive manner.
4th grade: 4th grade girls participate in practices and scrimmages in the fall.  The dates and times will be emailed to parents.  Parents are expected to help with home tournaments. The goal is to continue to develop fundamentals and practice these skills in scrimmages.
5th through 8th grades:  5th-8th grades participate in a traveling league through Great Northwest Basketball League. Parents are expected to help with home tournaments.  Your home tournament responsibilities, practices, and tournaments will be emailed to you by your coach.  Each school charges admission to get into tournaments and for concessions.  This is how each school fundraises for their booster programs.

*** Signing up your daughter has its obligations.  We hope to host a tournament in Amery for 4th-8th grades.  You will be expected to help in some capacity at one of these tournaments.  Coaches will send you information on what you are expected to help with.
