SPRING TRAINING SUNDAYS

During our weekly ‘Spring Training Sundays’ indoor sessions, coaches/volunteers will work with players to develop the necessary baseball/softball skills in preparation for the upcoming season!  Please register your child for the appropriate session, based on the division and level that they will be playing during the upcoming regular season.

Who:  The spring training program is for players in Tee Ball (4-5 years old), Pee Wee (5-6 years old) and International (7-8 years old) Baseball & Softball divisions.  Each participant will receive an official GILL Spring Training performance shirt!

*Fundamental rules & safety     *Hitting     *Throwing     *Catching     *Fielding     *Teamwork     *Fun 

Where: (Ralph Wilson) Niagara Community Center - 530 66th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14304

When:   Sundays in March (5th, 12th, 19th, 26th)

Time(s): Each age division will be assigned a specific 1-hour practice time slot (sometime between 1-4pm on Sundays) once registration closes. Specific details will be provided at a later date.

How to register: 
1. Visit the Grand Island Little League homepage, then click “Register” (top right)
2. Enter your login information, then select “programs”
3. Choose, “View Divisions” under 2023 Junior Viking Academy Spring Training
4. Select the appropriate division & submit $40 payment

Note: you also have ability to register for the regular season at this time as well

If you are interested in coaching (in any capacity) during the regular season, we hope that you will consider assisting during this event. New to coaching? Great! This is the perfect orientation to learn quality drills and tips from seasoned coaches. Please indicate your interest when you go to register your son or daughter!
