New Canaan FC and Darien Soccer Association have collaborated to create a top-level premier soccer program for our players. Rivals United, a joint premier program commenced play in the 2019-2020 season initially for the U15 girls and boys, with other age groups added based on demand. The long-term plan is to offer teams at U12-U15. All age appropriate Darien and New Canaan residents will be eligible to try out. The intent is to provide an opportunity for players to experience premier level programming and competition combined with the affordability, convenience, and flexibility of playing at a local level. Importantly, New Canaan FC and Darien SA will continue to offer their full range of traditional programs including multiple travel teams at each age group.
