TOPHAT SOCCER

The recreational level of play is an ideal and vibrant entry point for the player who wants to be introduced to the game, play with friends, and participate on a team. Recreational soccer is open to all players and is primarily devoted to the enjoyment of the sport and development of soccer players.

The recreational program is committed to teaching the sport of soccer in a fun and stress-free environment. It is open to players of all skill levels and abilities, and focuses on developing players with their technical skills. Players in the recreational program will practice for 10 weeks and play 8 games in a season, weather permitting.

• Ages:  3-1/2 years to 19 years old
  
• Seasons:  Fall (August - November) & Spring (February - May)
• Games:  In house games or inter-club games, depending on age
• Practices:  One or two nights a week, depending on age
• Coaches:  Volunteer parent coaches
• Tryouts:  No tryout, everyone plays
  

New as of Fall 2019:  All programs at NTH Smyrna will include the city park usage fee as part of the registration fee. The city's park usage fee is assessed by the city of Smyrna upon all participants in a sports program. All participants will be charged $40 to participate in the program, but residents of the city of Smyrna will be able to receive $25 back after they are able to prove their residency.
