Referees

Is your child interested in becoming a certified youth soccer referee?  Become an official now and you'll be certified to referee through December 2025. Online classes began July 1, 2024 and run continuously through April 30, 2025.

There continues to be a shortage of referees in the state of Connecticut. Please read this message from the Connecticut State Referee Program.

Please click here for instructions on how to get started with the New Referee Training Process. Candidates for New Referee Training must be 13 years old as of the registration date.

The New Referee Training Process is a combination of an On-Line Training Course to be completed at your own pace and attendance at an in-person session with a USSF/CSRP Instructor lasting approximately 2 hours.

After enrolling, you will receive a confirmation email with links to detailed instructions.

Additional information about the Connecticut State Referee Program can be found at www.ctreferee.net or on their Facebook page.

.

When a new Burlington or Harwinton referee finishes training and becomes certified, they will automatically get a new account in the assigning system with the same user ID & password that was used for registration. However, we ask that you still send us an email at [email protected] so that we can make sure you've been added to our referee pool!
