Auburn Youth Basketball is a youth basketball program serving the boys and girls ages 4-18 of Auburn, Massachusetts. We run both a recreation youth league and also a competitive travel program.
Our Recreation League contains different divisions based on grade. The rec league is a positive environment where the fundamentals of basketball are taught and all players will have equal playing time whenever possible. All players will receive a uniform top. Practices and Games are held in multiple locations like Auburn Middle School, Auburn High School and MTM Training Facility on Stafford Street in Worcester
Pre-K through Grade 2 are a mix of coed and separate girls and boys divisions, divided by grade. Fundamentals are taught in a fun, learning atmosphere on Saturdays at one of our elementary schools or MTM Training Facility. We use 8.5 foot hoops and size 27.5 inch balls.
Grades 3rd through 12th grade are divided by girls and boys. Teams will have one practice per week and one game on the weekend at one of our local schools or other training facilities. (MTM)
Our Travel League is a competitive basketball program that helps to grow our players. Auburn plays teams from all over Central Massachusetts. Games are once a week on Sunday's with one practice during the week. Evaluations will be held in October and unfortunately not everyone will make a team.
