LL Spring Baseball 2025

Welcome to Beverly Hills Little League's 2025 Spring baseball season. REGISTRATION FOR THE SPRING PROGRAM IS NOW OPEN. Please read this entire notice as it answers most questions parents have about the spring program.

The registration fee for all divisions except Seniors is $350. The registration fee includes uniforms for each player (except baseball pants).

REGISTER BY DECEMBER 31, 2024 TO RECEIVE A $75 DISCOUNT.

  • Scholarships are available to those families that demonstrate a financial need (contact registrar or president at [email protected] for scholarship information).
  • No refunds after February 1, 2025 (any refunds subject to $35 processing fee).

You can register online here and select "2025 Spring Baseball" under Available Programs.

If you do not already have one, you will be asked to create an account, including your child's birthdate and the division they are eligible for. The registration system will automatically assign your child to the proper division based on their birthdate.

You will receive a confirmation via email if successfully completed the registration process.

Children in Minors, Majors and Juniors will receive notices regarding Ratings Day in January, 2025. Teams will be formed and announced in early February 2025.

The BHLL spring baseball program consists of six divisions, with teams for ages 4-16, including T-Ball (ages 4-6), Rookies (7-8), Minors (9-10), Majors (11-12), Juniors (13-14) and Seniors (15-16). All baseball divisions are co-ed (softball is for girls only).

Divisions for Softball will also be available for Rookies only (ages 7-8). Older Softball Divisions will not be available, but BHLL is happy to assist interested players in joining neighboring leagues.

Division Age Requirements:
Your child's Division eligibility is based on their birthdate. Note: If your child has already played 2 years of Tee-Ball, they are eligible to move up to Rookies regardless of age. Contact [email protected]

  • Tee-Ball: 9/1/18 - 8/31/21
  • Rookies: 9/1/16 - 8/31/18
  • Minors: 9/1/14 - 8/31/16
  • Majors: 9/1/12 - 8/31/14
  • Juniors: 9/1/10 - 8/31/12
  • Seniors: 9/1/08 - 8/31/10

If you believe your child is skilled enough to move up a division, first register in your child's age- appropriate division then contact the registrar ([email protected]) to request a transfer (must be approved by the Division Director-- BHLL does not guarantee your child will be allowed to move up a division).

The Challenger Division is only for individuals with physical and developmental challenges. Challenger registration will be available by mid-November.

Important notes:
  • There are Saturday and Sunday divisions for Tee-Ball and Rookies. Sunday games are for families who - for religious reasons - are unable to play on Saturdays.
  • Minors, Majors and Juniors games are not scheduled on Friday or Saturday.

Coaches
If you want to coach a team (we need coaches), please also register online hereThere is a separate link in the registration page for coaches. BHLL strives to give every kid who registers an opportunity to play ball but that requires sufficient number of coaches especially at T-Ball and Rookies level so please volunteer.

Available slots are first come, first serve and there is no guarantee BHLL can accommodate every player, so register early. Registration will close once divisions are full (BHLL will form a wait list and notify the parent only if his/her child is off the wait list).

Teammate & Coach Requests

Teammate and coach requests are available only for T-Ball and Rookies Divisions. If your child has a preferred coach or teammate, you can indicate this during the registration process. We will do our best but cannot guarantee placement as each roster has limited availability and the teams must be balanced for competitive play.

Minors, Majors and Juniors divisions are subject to a draft, so teammate and coach requests will not be honored. These players must play for the team that drafted him/her (no exceptions). There will be a mandatory ratings day in late January / early February 2025 to be eligible for the draft (parents will receive a notice of the exact day and time for ratings). Players who are 15 years old may play in Junior League but not allowed to pitch.

Dates

The 2025 Spring program is scheduled to run from mid-February to early June 2025. Some players are selected for the Minors, Majors and Juniors All-Star teams that compete in the Little League Tournament. BHLL requests that parents do not make vacation or camp plans until after mid-July 2025 to allow your child to participate in All-Stars in the event he/she is selected.

You will be notified of your team assignments in early to mid-February. Don't worry if its January 2025 and you still haven't received any follow-up especially in T-Ball and Rookies.

The schedule for 2025 will be posted towards late February. We cannot answer any questions regarding dates and times for games until teams are formed and schedules finalized in late February.

Minors, Majors and Juniors typically have 2 games per week (1 game on the weekend and the other during the week) and 1 week-day practice. T-Ball and Rookies typically have 1 game on the weekend and 1 week-day practice per week. Coaches determine when weekday practices are scheduled for their teams (which means BHLL can't answer questions in advance regarding likely practice time). For players drafted in Minors-Juniors, try to make the practice time work with your coach because the league will not transfer players to another team nor will refunds be issued because of practice conflicts.

Further information regarding Seniors Division (ages 15+) and Buddy Ball/Challenger Division (special need players) will be sent in early 2025 although early registration is available for those programs . There is no fee for any special need child who wishes to play in the Buddy Ball/Challenger Division.

If you have any questions regarding the Spring program, you can contact the President Gregory Morales at [email protected] or the Registrar, Raul Perez, at [email protected]. Email is the preferred method to communicate with BHLL.

All participants including coaches will have to sign waiver of liabilities to participate in the Spring Program (waivers attached to registration).
