LLYCO CHEERLEADER CODE OF CONDUCT
To ensure the Safety and Enjoyment for everyone participating in the Youth Cheerleading Program all CHEERLEADERS will be expected to adhere to the following guideline:
There is to be no Disrespectful Behavior toward any Coaches, Board Members, other Parents or Children in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, Bullying, Harassment, or Defamation of Character, whether conducted in person or to a third party, via any verbal or written communication form, or any social media platform such as texting, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
The following sequence of disciplinary action will be followed if there is deemed to be an infraction of the above Code of Conduct:
FIRST OFFENSE: A VERBAL WARNING BE WILL GIVEN ALONG WITH MEDIATION TO TRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
SECOND OFFENSE: WRITTEN WARNING WILL BE GIVEN ALONG WITH CONTINUING MEDIATION TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE. CHEERLEADER IN VIOLATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CHEER FOR 1 WEEK. CHEERLEADER MUST ATTEND ALL PRACTICES AND GAMES DURING THAT WEEK. IF CHEERLEADER DOES NOT ATTEND, THEY WILL HAVE TO REPEAT THE WEEK OF VIOLATION. IF CHEERLEADER DOES NOT ATTEND SECOND WEEK, THEY WILL BE PULLED OFF THE SQUAD AND NOT ABLE TO RETURN, NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
THIRD OFFENSE: IF A CHEERLEADER IS IN VIOLATION, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE CHEER SQUAD WITH NO REFUND. DEPENDING ON THE NATURE OF THE INCIDENT THEY MAY OR MAY NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN FOR FUTURE CHEER SEASONS.
Please remember everyone here is generously volunteering their time to help our youth have the best possible experience they can on the cheer squad. Coaches, Booster Members, and Parents volunteer for the love of the sport, the love of our children, and to enrich our community.
We strive to create a positive environment for our youth to learn and grow. Please do your part to leave damaging negativity out of our program.
