ATTENDANCE POLICY

In order to provide the safest and most fulfilling experience for our young cheerleaders the following guidelines will be strictly enforced throughout the entire season. 

Cheerleaders are required to be at every practice, game, and special events. 

• Attendance will be taken at every game and practice. You must sign your cheerleader in and out.

• If a cheerleader misses a full week of practice they will be required to come to that week's game in full uniform and sit out

• Each cheerleader cannot miss more than 3 practices or games in our 8-week season; they can be removed for a team. 

• Excused absences such as illness and vacations will not be penalized as long as you notify the Head Coach prior. Too many excused absences may also result in being removed for the squad.

• If you know your child will be absent from a practice or game, you must notify the Head Coach immediately. The coaches’ phone numbers will be provided at the start of the season.

• Cheerleaders are expected to stay for the duration of all practices and games. Unexcused early dismissal will count as an absence.

• In the event that any cheerleader attends a function, the code of conduct applies. Any cheerleader who is disrespectful to a coach, volunteer, participant, fellow cheerleader(s) during these events will be subject to the disciplinary policy.
