Why Do You Coach?
I love sports in general, but really love the game of soccer. I played the game my entire young adult life and now love coaching my kids and their friends. Soccer also gives me an opportunity to teach life lessons to my players like the value of hard work, the importance of mental toughness, and the rewards of teamwork.
Coaching History:
Coach Fowler has an extensive resume coaching soccer, which includes leading one of the best high school programs in the state. Coach Fowler has been the Coaching Director for the last seven years for the TYSC, leading his two of his travel teams to five NWD division championships. Before that, Dennis was the varsity coach for the Lewis Mills girls’ program, compiling a 176-25-6 overall record in his 12 years in Burlington, including 10 league championships. In 2010, Fowler’s team set a school record for wins, going 19-1 and advancing to the Class M State Championship game, where they lost to Suffield 1-0.
