2025 Spring Flag Football

In Spring 2025, 49ers PREP Flag Football will commence by offering first-class youth sports opportunities to boys and girls ages 7-14 across the Peninsula and South Bay at no cost to families. Each league will be underwritten by the 49ers Foundation and run by Santa Clara PAL and other community-based organizations that align with our mission to bring this unique opportunity to our community at no cost. Please note, City of Santa Clara charges a non-resident fee of $25 for any player who resides outside the City of Santa Clara.

Locations

Games will be played at Reed and Grant Park (750 Reed St Santa Clara)

Format

Games are played in two 20-minute continuous clock halves with a 10-minute halftime

Dates/ Times

The program will begin on Sunday, April 6, 2025. All games and practices will be on Sundays. Practice times will be up to the coach's discretion.

Typically 30 min- to 1 hour before game time. Games will start at 9:00 am and will end around noon-1 pm. The last game will be on June 29th, 2025.

Program Highlights

Open to boys and girls, 7-14 years old
(Players must be at least 7 years old and cannot be older than 14 by the day of the first practice)
Up to 8 players will be placed onto each team
Jersey and Flag belts will be included with registration

There will be a $3.00 registration processing fee for each order.
