On Sunday, November 10, 2024, the BRW Blast organization assisted the not-for-profit organization, Camden's Comfort, with the construction of cozy blankets for sick newborn babies who are in Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Blast teams from all ages, their coaches, and families created flannel tie blankets. For further information on Camden's Comfort, please visit: http://camdenscomfort.org

The event took place at Gower Middle School, 7941 S. Madison St. in Burr Ridge from 10am-12pm. They assembled the blankets in the cafeteria. The Founder and President of Camden's Comfort, Lauren Humes, was on site to share her story and tell us more about the mission of this organization. Monetary donations are gratefully accepted as well.
