Head Coach - Alyssa Tegtmeier

Alyssa started playing softball at the age of 9 when she joined BRW’s fall and spring rec league. At age 10 she began playing travel ball for the BRW Blast up until she aged out at 18u! Alyssa has been the head coach for BRW Blast for the past 4 years. Alyssa works as a police social worker for Northeast DuPage Family & Youth Services and is stationed at the Glendale Heights Police Department.

Assistant Coach - Sarah

Sarah graduated from College of DuPage where she played two years of college softball. Sarah has played softball since she was 8 years old and joined travel ball when she was 14 for the Chicago Outburst. Sarah has coached BRW Blast for the past 4 years. She is currently working as a respiratory therapist at University of Chicago Medicine.

Assistant Coach II - Rachel

Rachel works as a service and marketing coordinator for an installation and repair company. Rachel has played all forms of softball since tee-ball. She grew up playing fast pitch through Brookfield Little League and the LT Blazers. She played two years at College of DuPage and stayed on as an assistant coach for an additional year while completing her degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Lewis University. She continued to play with her college teammates in a 19O fast pitch league until 2022. Since college, she has played in every kind of rec league you can think of! She coached Blast the past year and gives pitching lessons to girls of all ages.

Assistant Coach III - Jenna

Jenna's been playing softball since she started back in tee ball. She played travel ball most of her career and played for 2 seasons with BRW Blast. She's an experienced catcher, however she has many hours worth of experience all around the infield as a utility. Jenna attends College of DuPage and is a part of the softball program. She is studying elementary education as well as physical education.
