A Student Membership (non-voting) is for individuals who are in college or grad school and would like to participate as a member in Nashville Rowing Club.

A Student Member has the ability to row for our Youth or Adult programs depending on age. For those in Adult Programs, they have the ability reserve Club Equipment as long as they are an enrolled student in a school for higher education and have passed the proper certification requirements. Student Members have the ability to use Club Equipment that you can reserve (adults), represent Nashville Rowing at races, have access to pertinent club information, and be a part of our growing family! 

Family memberships are for households where 2 or more individuals intend to be members of the Nashville Rowing Club.

A Member has the ability to row for our Programs outside of Learn-to-Row, use certain reservable Club Equipment (adults), represent Nashville Rowing at races, vote in Annual Board of Director Elections, have access to pertinent club information, be covered under our insurance, and be a part of our growing family! 

Out of Town Membership is available to adults who would otherwise qualify to be Individual Members, but have elected to obtain an Out of Town Membership instead of a Individual Membership, and reside more than seventy miles from the NRC address for federal tax purposes, when measured in a straight line. Out of Town members shall have no voting rights. The use of NRC equipment and facilities by Out of Town members is subject to the restrictions set out in the NRC policy manual. Checking out equipment will only be allowed once an individual is safety check certified.

Our fall season will run from August 11th through November 8th, and will include three regattas. Practices run from 4:15 - 6:30 p.m. during the week and from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Music City Head Race - October 11th - Nissan Stadium, Nashville

Secret City Head Race - October 25 - Oak Ridge Rowing Association, Oak Ridge

Head of the Hooch - November 1-2 - Tennessee Aquarium, Chattanooga

This program is for retuning development rowers as well as NEW athletes. Racing is not required or expected for Development Program athletes, but for those that progress quickly and have interest, there is opportunity to move up to Competitive (additional fees required) or participate in a home race.

This program is for returning competitive and experienced rowers, and those in Development that are ready to move up to the Competitive team.

All of our Adult/Masters Programs require an active Individual, Student, or Family membership to participate. Memberships turn over for renewal starting July 1st for everyone, so if you have not yet completed your Membership Renewal, please do that at the same time, or before completing this program registration.
