For your child to participate in PTWLL baseball or softball, your child must be:
• A resident of Parsippany-Troy Hills (proof may be required); 
• Eligible to attend one of the PTW schools based on the child's residence (understanding that some children may be in daycare, private/religious school and/or home schooled):
    - Littleton Elementary
    - Mt. Tabor Elementary
    - Intervale Elementary
    - Eastlake Elementary
    - Lake Parsippany Elementary
    - Brooklawn Middle School
    - Parsippany Hills High School
and
• At least 4 years old, but not more than 16 years of age (see Little League International Age Chart links on right side) by
    - Aug. 31 of the Spring Season for Tee ball/ Baseball players (e.g., for Spring 2020, age as of 8/31/2020);
      or
    - December 31 of the year prior to the Spring Season for Softball players (e.g., for Spring 2020, age as of 12/31/2019).
Players new to PTWLL must submit a photocopy of the player’s birth certificate (may be scanned and emailed to  [email protected]).

Tryouts are required ONLY for the following baseball and softball players:
- All Minor League Players (new and returning; ages 8-10, age 11 upon League approval)
- All players entering PTWLL's Major League division for the first time (ages 10-12).

Players will be evaluated on base-running (timed), hitting, fielding and throwing.

Tryouts are held only in Sept.-Oct; dates are posted on the PTWLL calendar. Players must be registered for PTWLL's Spring program prior to attending tryouts. Players should wear sneakers or baseball cleats, comfortable pants. They should bring a glove and are encouraged to bring their own bat and helmet if they own one.
