Little League Baseball and Softball bat decertification

Dear Little League Volunteers,

Little League International was informed, that effective immediately, the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has provided official notice that the BBCOR decertification process has been implemented for the 33 in./30 oz. Louisville Slugger 2020 Meta (-3) BBCOR baseball bat. This bat is no longer an approved bat for play in the Intermediate (50-70) Division, Junior League, and Senior League divisions of the Little League Baseball program. Pursuant to Rule 1.10, this is now an illegal bat. At the time of this decertification notice, no other sizes of this bat model, or any previous model years of the bat model, have been decertified.

33 in./30 oz. Louisville Slugger 2020 Meta (-3) BBCOR baseball bat

All parents, coaches, and umpires must check their bats and remove these bats from play if they are in possession of these bats.

Any additional questions including information on returns, refunds, or warranty claims for the 33 in./30 oz. Louisville Slugger 2020 Meta (-3) BBCOR baseball bat should be directed to Louisville Slugger.
