2026 Adult & Family Summer Sailing Lessons with Kitsap Sailing Foundation (KSF)

Over the course of four sessions, aspiring sailors will learn basic sailboat handling skills in one of KSF's larger sailboats. Our skilled instructors are U.S. Sailing Level 1 certified, and are talented members and graduates of our Kitsap High School Sailing teams. Sailor/Instructor ratio is 3:1.

Through both on-shore and on-the-water activities, they will teach you proper boat rigging and knots, how sailboats work and how to find the wind, navigation, boating safety, and more. Our emphasis will be hands-on sailing experience, with all participants experiencing sailing as both crew, and skipper (driver)!

*While this course does not grant a U.S. Sailing Keelboat Certification, it does cover many of the topics that are required for such certification.

**Completion of this course grants you access to our open sailing nights throughout the summer. Invitations will be sent via email.

***Families may sign up together. Minimum age of 8 years-old to participate. Anyone under 18 years of age must sign up with an adult. Discounted pricing for multiple family members signing up at once!
