1.  How much is registration?  Sideline Squad - $300.00, Sideline

2.  What all does the $325.00 cover? Uniform, shoes, hair bow, charity bowl gear (socks and hairbow). Spirit pack items that are available for purchase include Pom Poms (you do not have to purchase new Poms, the park provides poms to use and return), megaphone, and backpack,and Hoodie. Price of Spirit-pack items is not yet available. Additional fees will not be collected by team mom for charity bowl, homecoming, or year-end party this year. Those fees are included in Registration fees. Cheer camp and competition are an additional cost.

3.  How old do you have to be to start cheerleading? Must be 4 by August 1 of 2019

4.  Can my daughter cheer up/down a squad? No, they have to cheer with their grade level unless they were pushed up or held back a year in school.  With that being said, they may not be able to compete with their squad in competition due to their age.  In order to compete with their squad in competition they cannot be above a certain age before September 1st of this year.  A child could compete with the squad above their grade division if the age before September 1st comes into play.

5.  How are the squads broken down?

Squads are separated by grade:
75lb -Kindergarten & 1st grade
95lb - 2nd & 3rd grade
115lb- 4th & 5th grade
135lb- 6th grade

6.  Are there any additional expenses besides registration? We have tried to disclose all costs up front so there are no surprise fees and we will work diligently to stay within this price range. Also we will be doing a cheerleading clinic in July and competition in November which both are completely optional.

7.  When is practice? The days and times during the week are determined by each sponsor.  Most squads practice on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:30 until 7:30.  Some sponsors might add additional practices closer to homecoming and competition. Practice will start as two nights a week in the month of August, then possibly go down to one night a week for sideline squad during September, October and November.

8.  When does practice start? Most squads will start practice towards the end of July.  Your sponsors will be in contact with you to let you know when your squad will start practicing and where.

9. Will we have to travel? Yes.  The teams within our new league include Gardendale, Fultondale, Moody, Hueytown, McAdory, Pleasant Grove, Pinson, Clay, Crestwood, Park West, Leeds, and Pell City. We should have at least 4 home games, 4 away games, and playoff games.
