CDC Guidelines for FCVA Little League

  • Children must have their own equipment (batter’s helmet, glove, bat, and catcher’s equipment). Please mark your child's equipment with their name to prevent the equipment being used by another player.
  • During games, only half the team will be permitted to be in the dugout at one time. The other half of the team will use the bleachers.

  • We were asked to limit the number of spectators to 2 people per child for games, however, we know this can be difficult when players have younger siblings. Please bring lawn chairs for your family to watch the game and social distance with spectators outside your family at the field. The bleachers will be used for players only.

  • The game balls will be disinfected before and after each game.

  • FCVA Little League will only play other teams that reside in a "green phase" area.

  • There will be no handshakes/high fives with the opposing team following games. Little League International suggests lining up and tipping caps to the opposing team as a sign of good sportsmanship after a game.

  • There will be no concession stand at Jordan Park or Bertram this season.

  • Restrooms at Jordan Park will be open for practices and games. Saegertown Boro cleans and disinfects these restrooms regularly. There is one porta john available at Bertram Park.

  • If your child is not feeling well, please alert your coach and do not attend an FCVA Little League activity.

  • If you're in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, please alert your coach immediately and do not attend any FCVA Little League activities for 14 days from when you were in contact with the person who tested positive for COVID-19. You should monitor your health for fever, cough and shortness of breath during the 14 days after the last day you were in contact and follow any additional guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

  • If a player tests positive for COVID-19, all parents will be notified of the days the player attended an FCVA Little League activity and all future activities will be suspended until further notice from the FCVA Little League board. The league will ask anyone who participated in those games to follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To respect the safety and privacy of that individual, the board will not be sharing any personal details of the individual who tested positive.
