Sullivan County Soccer Association

Our Mission

SCOSA is a recreational league. Our main objective is to help kids learn the game of soccer and have fun while doing so. The kids will learn soccer skills, teamwork and sportmanship during the season. Players are expected to treat the coaches, referees  and othe players with respect. We DO NOT keep up with teams rankings or encourage teams to play with a "win at all costs mentality".

Coachers are expected to give players equal play time and also give each player exposure to all the positions on the field.

We are very proud of what we do. Some coaches positions will become available. If you are interested on helping please see coach Julian during the first 2 weeks.

Please be aware of the speed limit throughout  the park. We start practices at a specific time but we also are concerned about everyone's safety. 

Please allow the first weeks for us to get a final count as we have more members registering late. We want to welcome all those who want to be part of SCOSA every season.

General Rules:

  • Equipment: All players MUST wear shin-guards (over the shin guards) in order to be on the fields and are encouraged to bring their own ball.
  • League Information: your registration fee covers only a portion of the program costs including a jersey for each player, an end of the season award for each player and registration fees for each child with the Tennessee State Soccer Association, which provides medical and liability insurance. Other substancial expenses include goals, balls, nets, and field maintenance (mowing, lining, seeding, fertilizing, etc.
  • Please BE ON TIME! it makes it really hard for the coaches to get things going when players do not show on time.
  • Please write your child's name on his/her soccer ball with a permanent marker before the first practice.
  • Please pick up your garbage as you leave the fields. garbage cans are at every exit of the fields.
  • NO SMOKING near the playing fields. this includes  the entire area used for soccer. If you smoke, GO OUTSIDE OF THE FENCE.
  • We would also ask that dogs not to be brought to the fields.
  • CANCELATIONS: only cancelations are made if there is thunderstorms at the fields. Coach Julian will be the only one to decide at the fields.
