In order to protect children from the threat of violence, abuse, and neglect, State and Federal laws require organizations that provide or supervise youth activities to proactively screen and train their volunteers and employees.

All Board Members, Team Managers, Coaches, and Umpires are required to complete a 2-hour online training in Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training. This brief training provides very basic information on identifying signs of child abuse and neglect, and the requirements for reporting such information to authorities.

ALL Little League volunteers are required to submit a photo ID and submit to criminal background checks.

JDPalantine. A Private company that searches public databases for criminal records.

California Department of Justice - Live Scan. A Public Law Enforcement Agency that checks a broad spectrum of Federal and State criminal records.
