The Calistoga Little League was originally incorporated as the Calistoga Baseball Association on May 15, 1962. Documents establishing the organization were submitted by founding board members John Marconi, Edmund Molinari, and Peter Tedeschi, and certified by the California Secretary of State, Frank M. Jordan. The original articles of incorporation were notarized by a lifelong Calistoga resident, Milina Howard, herself born in Calistoga at the local hospital in 1917.
The organization chartered with Little League International in 1984, and has operated as the Calistoga Little League since then. With the single exception of the season of 2020 cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have operated continuously for 62 years.
The organization is an IRS classified 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization, qualifying donors for a charitable deduction on their income taxes.
