Good morning, Calistoga Little
League Families,
Registration for the Calistoga
Little League 2024 season is now closed.
The
number of registered players was unusually low at just 52
league-wide, the High School baseball field is not available this season due to construction, and Logvy Field schedule is limited.
Therefore, Calistoga Little League is only able
to officially field the Tee Ball division, and other teams are suspended for the 2024 season.
PLAYERS IN OTHER DIVISIONS HAVE BEEN INVITED TO PLAY IN THE ST HELENA LITTLE LEAGUE.
Possible Exception: Juniors
Baseball is close to a full team. Juniors
Baseball players will have the choice to recruit additional
players to field a team of(12) and remain in
Calistoga, or join SHLL, which also has an Intermediate
division specifically to develop 13yo players. The deadline
is January 27, to allow families adequate time to register
in St. Helena if they choose. Please contact Player Agent

Currently registered players will receive refunds and can register with St Helena Little League.
Some
history:
St. Helena and
Calistoga Little Leagues once played together as
the Upper Valley Little League. As the population of youth
grew in the 1980s and 1990s, Calistoga and St Helena played
independently from each other. Since then, the number of
children playing baseball and softball in Calistoga and
other leagues has gradually decreased. This is not the end of
Calistoga Little League, just a temporary solution for this
season.
This will also give us the
ability to plan and undertake improvements to our home fields and
facilities.
St. Helena Little League evaluations are mandatory and will
take place on January 28
and February 3. Players must register and attend ONE of
those dates. Additional details such as time and location

for Softball (LA 7 – 14)

(Intermediate & Juniors: LA 13 & 14) will have
