Every Player will need:
Cleats, Shin Guards, Soccer Ball, Water Bottle, Black Shorts, Soccer Socks
Cleats:
Cleats should not have metal studs on the bottom. These could become harmful if a child happens to be stepped on or kicked. We also recommend that players not wear "baseball" cleats (they have the toe piece in the front). Baseball cleats can become very bulk when running on a soccer field and won't allow the player to have full control over the ball when it is at their feet.
Shin Guards:
Shin guards are required to cover the whole shin area. There are many different types and styles of shin guards. Be sure to have your child try them on to ensure their comfort, fit, and protection. Shin guards MUST be covered by socks.
Soccer Ball:
Ball sizes vary depending on the age of the player. Below is a list of sizes for age group/division.
U04 (Tots): size 3
U06 (Cubs): size 3
U08 (Passer): size 3
U10 (Wing): size 4
U12 (Striker): size 4
U14 (Kicker): size 5
Water Bottle:
Water bottles come in all shapes and sizes. Be sure to that your player always has enough water, especially during warmer temperatures.
