SSA is one of a select number of clubs across the US to be awarded 'Developmental Academy' status for its 12U, 13U, and 14U Boys Programs. The programs form the first steps in US Soccer's elite-player development pathway as a means to identify and prepare players for participation in the MLS professional league and US Men's National Team programs. 

DA status is awarded to a club based on US Soccer's assessment of the club's ability to provide it's players with access to a high-quality training and game-play environment. Factors such as the experience and qualifications of the club's coaching staff are taken into account, along with the number and quality of training and match fields.  If you are interested in trying out for the Development Academy, please click HERE.
