NASA Tophat Expands to Milton Area; Respected Soccer Veteran Mike Gailey Named Director

Atlanta - May 17, 2018 — NASA Tophat (NTH) soccer club today announced the opening of its NTH Milton operations.  Based out of King’s Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, NTH Milton will have outstanding facilities to support its program, including both grass and artificial turf fields.  The NTH Milton program will include recreational, academy and select soccer programs for both girls and boys.

In connection with the opening of NTH Milton, NTH named long-time Atlanta soccer veteran Mike Gailey as Director for the NTH Milton program.  Gailey has been a professional soccer coach for approximately 20 years and most recently served as Director for the Concorde North program, where he has coached Development Academy, National League, SRPL/RPL and academy programs.  Prior to coaching, Gailey played collegiately at UNC Greensboro and professionally for 7 years.  It is expected that Gailey will be introducing other members of his coaching staff in the coming weeks.

Mike and his coaching staff will be great ambassadors and leaders as we invite the members of the north side community to join the NTH family.”  

NTH is a club comprised of girls and boys playing soccer in every age group across a range of levels of competition.  The girls portion of the club, known as Tophat, is nationally renowned for its player development and team accomplishments.  Led by Ted Colburn (academy / youth) and Troy Garner (DA/ECNL), the Tophat program was recently recognized by Soccerwire magazine as the number one girls soccer program in the United States.  The NTH boys program, known as NASA, is led by Ray Tomlin and has produced collegiate and professional players for over a decade through its DA, ECNL and select programs.
