Select Program 

The Select Program is geared for players who want a more rigorous training and playing schedule.  Players in the Select Program will learn and develop their soccer skills at a faster pace while playing in a more competitive environment. 

Overview

         Players must tryout for a position on a Select team.  Regular tryouts are held in May or early June of each year.  

·        Teams participate in scheduled games throughout the Atlanta area and are guaranteed one tournament per season.

·       Tournaments are usually 3 games in one day and do not require overnight stays.

·       Teams practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (times announced by coaches).

·     Technical and specialty training sessions at various points during the season.

·      Training T-Shirt(s) provided.  2 Uniform kit required.

        Requires a one year playing commitment (fall and spring seasons).
    
        Player birth certificate required for FYSA age verification (no exceptions).

Program Fees

The total cost for the Select Program is $375 ($195 fall season/$180 spring season).  These prices are all inclusive with the exception of player travel expenses to, from and during tournaments.  The season includes a minimum of an 8 game schedule in the fall and an 8 game schedule in the spring (including tournament games).  Training shirt(s) will be issued to players for practice sessions and are included in the program fees. 

A uniform kit must be purchased by each player that consists of 2 game jerseys (one white, one royal), 2 game shorts, and 2 pairs of game socks. Players may wear the uniforms for more than one season provided: 1) The uniform remains in good condition; 2) Players have all pieces of their uniform kit (some special orders of individual pieces may be possible but not guaranteed); and, 3) TOF does not change the uniform kit design or manufacturer.  The 2015-16 uniform kit cost is $75.00 and the manufacturer is Inaria. 

Players and parents are responsible for all travel costs (gas, food, lodging, misc.) related to away games and tournaments. TOF includes the cost of one tournament per season in Select fees. Any additional tournaments chosen by the coach and team will require that TOF obtain funds/payment from players/parents to cover team entry fees.
