TN State Concussion Requirements

State Mandated Concussion Requirement

It  mandatory for all OGS Coaches to be trained in nature, risk and symptoms of concussion and head injury.  This is in response to a law implemented on January 1, 2014 by the State of Tennessee.  The Heads Up Certificate is required and can be obtained by watching the Heads Up Training video below: 

HEADS UP Training Video
All coaches need to watch the Heads Up Training Video and return the certificate given at the end of the training to OGS by fax to 615-893-5498 or scan/email to [email protected]. This training session takes about 30 minutes.  

You will not be allowed to coach without this document.
