Dear LYSA Families, 

 

LYSA has been working diligently with the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association and the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer Leagues over the last three months to determine whether a safe Fall soccer season in Lunenburg is feasible in light of the Covid-19 pandemic health crisis.

 

The return to soccer guidelines along with the required modifications that have been evolving over this period, coupled with the uncertainty regarding field use availability, have all been factored into LYSA’s decision making. Furthermore, as of August 31, the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League has opted out of travel soccer for the Fall 2020 season. 

 

With the above in mind, LYSA has determined that the appropriate course of action is to cancel our Fall 2020 soccer season. With much disappointment in not being able to hit the pitch this Fall, LYSA looks forward to seeing everyone in the Spring, if conditions allow.
