About VSA's Recreational Program

Recreational soccer is for anyone ages 3 years through 19 years old looking to learn the skills and nuances of the sport in a fun and socially stimulating environment whereby players who participate regularly, gain from the physical and psychological benefits of playing soccer.

We have teams starting at 5U through 19U.

There are no tryouts for these teams, all ability levels are welcome!

All our teams are coached by volunteer coaches that generously give their time and talents for their child's team. VSA's Youth Development Director provides activities for 5U through 6U coaches and VSA staff conduct training sessions for teams 7U and up during the season. 

All of our teams are generally all girl or all boy (coed) teams, girls are welcome to play on boy/coed teams.

VSA is dedicated to providing an environment that is tailored to the age of the player. We are a non-profit organization with 20 years of soccer education in the area. Although people may think we want every player to play professionally, the truth of the matter is, we provide a developmentally appropriate pathway to bigger and better things while respecting a player’s choice.
