History

Vision Soccer Academy was established in 1996 is now one of the fastest-growing soccer clubs in the Des Moines metro area. VSA offers a wide range of soccer programs that develops players of all levels of ability from the ages of 3 to 19. VSA serves several of Central Iowa's communities including Waukee, Adel, Clive, Dallas Center, Earlham, Grimes, Norwalk, Perry, Polk City, Urbandale, Van Meter, West Des Moines, and Winterset.

Offered Programs

 

Recreational: Boys and Girls 5U through 19U

VSA's Recreational Program is a great way for players to enjoy soccer. Teams are formed according to location and neighborhoods allowing friends to play together. The Recreational Program emphasizes development through participation. Recreational teams are coached by volunteer coaches.

Academy: Boys and Girls 9U through 10U

VSA's Academy Program is for those players interested in accelerating their skill development. A well planned training curriculum challenges the players technically in a fun, fast paced environment that prepares players for VSA's Select Program. The Academy Program is delivered by some of VSA's licensed and trained coaching staff. Academy players begin their romance with soccer in this program. Academy teams train twice weekly and play both Fall and Spring seasons, participate in league games and Academy festivals. There is also any optional Winter Academy Session.

Select: Boys and Girls 11U through 19U

VSA's Select Program is for players who love the game and are potential candidates to pursue playing opportunities at the high school, Olympic Development, and college levels and beyond. The Select Program challenges players in all aspects of soccer and challenges players tactically, physically, and learn to deal with adversity as well as success. Select players enhance their love of soccer in this program. Select teams train three times weekly and play both Fall and Spring seasons with an abbreviated Winter training segment. Team camp, travel league and tournament play complete the Select Program schedule.

Additional Programming: Boys and Girls 3 to 19

VSA's Additional Programming meets players specific needs to develop the well rounded player. Some of our additional programs include Mighty Tikes (3's), Grasskickers (5U-6U), PRE-Academy (7U-8U), and other camps and clinics specialized in particular fundamentals of the game of soccer.
