2016 - 2017 Season Travel Soccer Tryout Schedule

Marple Newtown Soccer Association (MNSA) Travel Soccer tryouts for Boys and Girls from ages U9-U14 will be held at Krassas Field (Rt. 252 and Gradyville Rd.,  Newtown Square).  All players are welcome to participate.

Players attending the tryouts should bring an inflated soccer ball, cleats, shin guards and water.

MNSA Travel Soccer provides the opportunity for advanced instruction, playing with your peers, and the ability to play other local clubs (typical drive time is within 30 minutes) in the area at a low registration fee.  Teams are selected through an open tryout in April and May and MNSA encourages everyone to tryout.  Practice is twice a week and typically play one game a weekend with travel teams having the added advantage of optional extended summer practice, and local tournaments.

MNSA Travel Soccer is a competitive program with both boys and girls teams playing in fall leagues. Travel provides the opportunity for advanced instruction, playing with your peers, and the ability to play other local clubs (typical drive time is within 30 minutes) in the area.

Teams are placed in divisions that are matched to the skill level of the club and travel offers teams that range in age from 8 to 19. The teams are selected through an open tryout in April and May and MNSA encourages everyone to try out to so that we can assess and match each player’s skill level to the appropriate League Divisions.

The attached Parent's Guide to Travel Soccer was prepared by the Commissioner of Travel Soccer. It's purpose is to familiarize parents, especially new parents, with the travel soccer program at MNSA.

Boys Travel

The Boys Travel division provides the opportunity to play at a competitive level.  All teams in the boys division play in the Delco Soccer League.  Most teams will play in one or more tournaments each year.  Some teams play year round.

Girls Travel 
The Girls Travel division provides the opportunity to play at a competitive level.  All teams in the girls division play in the PAGS.  Most teams will play in one or more tournaments each year.  Some teams play year round.
