Passion Softball 2026-2027

Passion has teams from 8U to 23U.

Tryout Dates ($0 tryout fee and Tryouts with each team): TBD (Typically early July)

PRACTICES

All the below are general guidelines for Passion teams. It is expected that each individual Passion

team will establish their own specific goals and expectations as determined the by the head coach

and communicated to all parents.

Fall team practices will be held twice a week (one weekday/one weekend) from the end of August through October
Winter team practices will occur once a week on either Saturday/Sunday, November through February. (March for 13U and under)
Spring/Summer practices will be held twice a week (one weekday/one weekend unless in a tournament) April thru July.

*Older age groups will start mid May at commencement of the high school season

About Passion Softball

Passion Softball was founded in 2011 with a commitment to creating a positive, challenging, and rewarding environment for players and families. Our organization focuses on developing athletes both on and off the field by teaching strong softball fundamentals, teamwork, leadership, confidence, accountability, discipline, and respect for others.

We believe in building well-rounded athletes, not just softball players. Passion encourages multi-sport participation and values family balance, understanding that young athletes benefit from diverse experiences and time away from the field. Our coaches, parents, players, and staff work together to create a culture built on support, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Our Mission & Team Philosophy

Our goal is to develop the skills and fundamentals necessary for athletes to compete at the highest levels of fastpitch softball while helping each player grow in confidence, character, and teamwork. Every player is viewed as an important part of the team, and we strive to place athletes in positions where their strengths can best contribute to team success and personal development.

Players may be assigned both primary and secondary positions based on their abilities, team needs, and overall development.

As with competitive softball, playing time and positional decisions are determined by many factors, including effort, attitude, skill development, team strategy, and game situations. Coaches will always work to provide meaningful opportunities for player growth while maintaining a competitive and team-focused environment.
