All-Stars Program
The Little League® International Tournament marks a special time in the season — a fresh start with new teams forming and the chance to create lasting memories on a bigger stage. After the regular season ends, Walla Walla Little League selects three All-Star teams to represent our league in postseason play:
- 10-Year-Old Team
- 11-Year-Old Team
- 12-Year-Old Team
Each team is made up of 12–14 players.
Selecting the Teams
The method for choosing All-Star players is determined by the local league Board of Directors. Little League International recommends a fair selection process that includes input from multiple groups within the league — such as players, league officers, team managers, coaches, and volunteer umpires.
Tournament Schedule
All three teams compete in the District Tournament, hosted in Walla Walla in mid-to-late June.
Teams that advance continue on to the State Tournament, typically held in mid-to-late July at host sites around Washington. Recent host cities have included Woodinville, Lynnwood, and Walla Walla.
Practices
Practice schedules are set by each team's coaches and will be shared once teams are announced.
Fees & Travel
The participation fee is $100 per player if selected. Teams advancing to State are welcome to fundraise to help offset travel costs, but families are ultimately responsible for their own travel expenses.
How to Apply
All-Star applications are available at the concession stand near the end of the regular season. Specific application and team announcement dates will be posted each spring. Late applications will not be accepted, so be sure to watch for announcements and submit on time.
