Jr. NBA & Jr. WNBA 2026 Summer League


The Jr. NBA & Jr. WNBA Summer League delivers a fun, structured, and high-energy basketball experience for boys and girls ages 6–14. Powered by the NBA and WNBA, this professionally curated program focuses on skill development, game play, teamwork, and confidence—while keeping the game fun and accessible for players of all skill levels. Our league emphasizes basketball fundamentals, core values, and sportsmanship in a safe and positive learning environment. Each week, players participate in a skill development session followed by organized 5v5 game play, allowing athletes to grow their skills and apply what they’ve learned in real game situations.


Age Divisions

Rookie: Grades K–2

Starter: Grades 3–4

All-Star: Grades 5–6

MVP: Grades 7–8

Season Format

Season Length: Wednesdays, June 17 – August 5, 2026 (8 weeks)

One game per week plus playoffs

Locations:

Houston Recreation Center – 900 Grakyn Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19128

Kendrick Recreation Center – 5800 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19128

Team Format: 5v5 game play with 8–10 players per team

League Options:

Jr. NBA (boys/co-ed)

Jr. WNBA (girls-only)

Game Structure:

15-minute skill development session before each game
