**Beach Volleyball Club Season Description**

**Season Duration:**

- Start: Monday, September 1st, 2025

- End: Friday, May 29th, 2026

**Practice Schedule:**

- **Monday-Wednesday:**

- 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

- 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

- **Tuesday-Thursday:**

- 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

- 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

**Note:** There are no weekend practices. An additional $100 is added to your bill that will be used to pay for your uniforms which includes 2 pairs of shirts and a SLUNKS shorts.

**Skills and Training:**

Our beach volleyball club focuses on developing a wide range of skills essential for the sport. Practices are designed to improve:

- **Technical Skills:** Serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging.

- **Tactical Skills:** Game strategy, positioning, and decision-making.

- **Physical Fitness:** Strength, agility, endurance, and overall athleticism. (EKG testing is recommended for every athlete to ensure safety.)

- **Teamwork and Communication:** Effective communication on the court and building strong partnerships.

Each practice session is structured to provide athletes with individualized coaching and drills tailored to enhance their performance. Our experienced coaches will work closely with each player to identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring a comprehensive development plan.

**Tournament Participation:**

From January through June, athletes have the opportunity to register for local beach tournaments that we recommend. Participation in these tournaments is optional and allows athletes to:

- Test their skills in a competitive environment

- Gain valuable match experience

- Apply the techniques and strategies learned during practice
