This is a 8-9 week program for players who are still learning the sport and who turn 6/7 at any time in the year 2025 (otherwise known as 2025-2026

CAS coaches and GSC volunteers will run 1 hour sessions per week (usually a Saturday 10-11am for younger cohort and Sat 11-12pm for older) with two groups of 30-35 kids each.

The activities will alternate between fun, group-oriented activities and more fundamental, skill-based drills to hone ball mastery and individual footwork. They will normally be run outdoors at Poquonnock Plains Park. For the second half of the season the players will be assigned to a "Copa America team" of 8-9 kids and play other teams in a round robin format. Volunteer parents will be needed to help coordinate each team and help CAS coaches organize the kids during activities. Parents who would like to do this can simply email us at [email protected]
